In my grandma's garden

I was allowed to walk on the brick paths separating the flower beds but only if I asked permission and was very careful not to step on the flowers. I know it might look like a Turkish carpet to you but it has a deep meaning for me. This is the 3rd painting in the "Not the Sheila I know" series.

Hi Seila, really love this painting, its a memory, but feels like a fantastical dream, which is probably close to a childs view of the world, love the mad perspective and the brick paths straight out of a garden in the Arabian nights. Its fabntastical (typing error, will use again) but its grounded in a real event.
Simon, yes, it's a memory, kind of "real dream". Fascinating to escape sometimes into those things from our past.
