Eating apples

This painting has been sold

Acrylic on wood panel 8" x 8" £65 (British pounds) plus postage & packing

This is me and a neighbour's girl eating apples in the garden. I have some ideas about this one but I will leave it up to your imagination.

Magic, sort of scene from a folktale,
then the big APPLE-DRAGON appears!! and...
Like the way the external and internal world meet in memories.
Lovely painting.

it's funny Simon, the trees sort of "grew" out of and into the painting almost on their own.

This whole series is so amazing, such a feeling of child's fever dream. Love it.
