Sheila This is right up my street (not the building "the painting"!) it looks like you have painted this on a red background on wood,this all helps the brilliant texture and your brush work is great, love it. Keith
Hi Keith, thanks for the vote of confidence! It is a dark red, actually mars violet deep (which W&N have discontinued and substituted with a similar colour of an even more complex name). It's hardboard though, not wood.
