Adventure in the park

This painting has been sold

Oil on hardboard 8" x 8"

I am back for a couple of days before leaving again on Sunday for a week. I managed to get this one done this morning, inspired by a wonderful painting by the British painter the late Victor Pasmore called "The Park" which he did in 1947.

Nice to have you back again and a nice painting also .
Thanks for your note about taking photos Sheila, I know exactly what you mean, I use the same tactics myself, sometimes i take a friend with me and pretend to be photographing them ! I have had some close shaves let me tell you.
Its all fun Sheila / Take Care / Keith

Hi Keith, thanks for the visit and the encouraging comment. The photo taking business is a funny one, I agree. Fortunately for a lot of my work I prefer empty streets or scenes and buildings don't object!

Magic painting Sheila, photo taking, yes a dodgy one, best line I have is "Ime a landscape painter" that seems to explain everything for them and your not from the Inland revenue/Private investigators inc/Voyeurs anonymous etc. Got accused recently of infringing someones privacy, well yes I sort of was, oh dear...

Thanks Simon - as to the photos, I try to remember to carry around a few "business cards" saying I'm a painter in case the law gets involved! Being deaf though is a distinct advantage here!
