Woodend Mill, the printer's table

This painting has been sold

Acrylic on hardboard 12" x 12"

I've been working on this for several days, just re-working, re-working. I may work on it some more yet - don't know.

Sheila, I think think this is both brilliant and powerful as is!
Cheers, Marcia

My eye went like this: From the milk and cookies (sorry, but I must want some), to the light switch, over to the frame, then right back to the bright white on the table. Nice circle. And no doubt another story...

Your interiors are quite beautiful. And for this one, I agree with the other commentors, you certainly could stop now.
Of course, you may have something else to say with this painting that we aren't privy to... yet!

Thanks Marcia. Yes, I think I've probably done as much as I can with it (famous last words)

Hi Sam - I think the milk is really a big cannister of PVA glue but not to worry. I'm sure the milk and cookies will go down well with the printer. Aye, stories.. dunno.

Vivien, I really must look up Gwen John again. I used to love her stuff. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks Shirley. No, maybe I won't do any more on this for the time being, but this time next year...who knows..
