Tom

Charcoal pencil, charcoal and graphite on paper approx 16" x 12"

The last Studio Session before Christmas. Only four of us braved the snow and ice. I have had no time to paint so I was desperate to do something and Tom was great to draw.

Hi Sheila I like this person Tom so much - what a sweetie! And I can tell you like him too from the way you've drawn him!
Great drawings!
I admire your breadth of subject matter enormously, your skill and flexibility - the way you are able to shift gears and move from one genre to another. That is tremendous, enviable!
Best to you for the New Year!

Hi Marcia, yes Tom had very distinctive features. He almost looked like he had stepped out of a boy band,LOL ! And I could tell he was getting impatient with just sitting there, lots of pent up energy as these kids have. All the best to you and yours also Marcia.

Super drawing Sheila,

Amazing. Good for you. You would like icers from Lee Valley. You can order on line. They go over your booth with Velcro straps, and you will not fall!!!

Gorgeous drawings. Tom has a compelling face.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hi Barbara, I wondered what you were talking about then. Thanks for the advice, the Icers sound good, but I'm hoping we won't get too much of the white stuff. A friend of my mothers wears her husband's old socks over her shoes and swears by it (not terribly elegant though). All the best to you too Barbara!
