I got back yesterday after 3 very busy non-stop weeks and since then I have continued non-stop catching up all the "homey" things that needed doing like supermarket shopping and cleaning etc etc. The good news is that in my mail was a letter from the Society of Women Artists in London to say they had accepted all 4 of my submissions for their summer exhibition. I am so thrilled and surprised about that as I was hoping for 1 acceptance or 2 at the most.
Not had time to pick up a paint brush yet but managed to fit in a trip to the garden centre this afternoon with my mum and stocked up on hanging basket plants which I did this evening in the beautiful sunny weather England is experiencing at the moment. Might get round to oiling the brushes a bit tomorrow. It always feels slightly scary when you go back to it after a 3 week break (or is it just me).
Brilliant! I knew that you would get accepted! It's simply a wonderful feeling to get into a show like that - kudos to you and Welcome Back!
