I think it was Carol Marine who said recently how difficult carnations were to paint. I agree with her. It's more a case of what to leave out rather than what to put in.
This is really a beauty, Sheila. The composition is very interesting-the angles and edges make a nice foil for the flowers and that bit of under painting peaking through is terrific!
