Oil on hardboard 8" x 8"
I never do read the paper at this table but I wanted that area to be the focus of the painting - the sun lit table and the hint of the old chair. Those two little pots on the window sill are my cactus plants and this sheet of paper at the front of the painting near the flower vase is a poem by my son.

ReplyDeleteSheila, I love all your paintings of your beautiful home. For me, the focal point in this one is the vase of lovely flowers at the upper right, and then the lower left invites exploration. There is always so much to see in your paintings. They're wonderful.
