I wanted to try soft edges all over here so I blended edges as I went along or I softened them with a dry watercolour brush at the end. Gives it a kind of "Long Ago" dreamy feel I suppose.
I'm just loving these recent paintings - they all tell a story so well, in just a glimpse...and then draw you in to check out further details....and a clue to how the story might end!
Really enjoyed this series Sheila. You've portrayed the subject matter in so many different ways. Will miss all the cycle paintings after this week. Marjorie
