Haddon Hall is a medieval / Tudor hall near Bakewell in Derbyshire, an hour or so's drive from where we live. Most of the fabric of the building that we now see is Tudor with many high leaded windows and much oak panelling. We were lucky to visit on a beautiful sunny Sunday in September and I took some photos - there were no restrictions. It has a marvellous atmosphere, you just want to move in and live there although the current owners whose ancestors date back to the 16th century still do! I'm hoping to do a few more of the hall from this set of photos.
Wonderful, Sheila!! Looking forward to seeing more. Love those old historic interiors.
