My inner fish II

These two "Inner fish" paintings are inspired by a wonderful little book called "Our Inner Fish" by Neil Shubin who revelled in disclosing our fishy origins, especially a fish called Tiktaalik, who lived 375 million years ago. It was the first fish with limbs capable of doing push-ups.  The frustrations and determination we apply to our painting activities surely have roots in these amazing creatures.
