In Florence the streets are often narrow with high buildings on either side. This means that sunlight can find it difficult to find its way in. This scene is early morning; looks like the young lady is on her way to work. As a visitor in Florence it is difficult to remember that people live and work there too!

I keep promising myself a holiday on the Neapolitan coast but it never seems to happen! Since I retired I seem to have less time for holidays than I had before. One day !!
