Torso relief

Plaster  c 5" x2.5" x 1.5"

I'm fairly new at this game so I hadn't quite worked out that it would not be easy to carve in the round when one side of the cast has many folds and creases embedded in it. Therefore this ended up more like a relief carving but its ok. It's all learning. When I was about 7/8ths done I flooded the piece with some diluted black brown acrylic and then rubbed a lot of it off so this helps to show the surface form. I also want to experiment with some different finishes like wax polish so these little studies can be the guinea pigs.
Am I going to continue?  It's both frustrating and enjoyable but my back is killing me and despite wearing a mask, I feel as if I have swallowed a pound of plaster of paris!
