Clay with surface colour 4" x 4" x 2.5"

Been working hard on the sculpture. It's quite a long process but an exciting one. You can't add colour until you have had at least 2-3 days of drying, then you can't polish until another day has gone by. The piece is small as you can see but it is solid clay with no armature so it will take some time to really dry out. The base is not painted or waxed yet so at the end of the working day I lay these small pieces down to sleep so the base clay is exposed to the air and this should accelerate drying time.
